This electronic form is used to collect information about data sets in order to preserve digital research data.

Contents of register

• Name of the proposing researcher
• E-mail address
• Phone number
• Other contact details (address)
• Name of the research group
• Webpage of the research group
• Name of the dataset
• Short description of the dataset
• Link to the data, if available
• Publications from the data (you can also attach a file after saving this form)
• Field of Science
• Choose which faculty research committee you wish to review the application (in the next phase)
• Preliminary suggestions for meeting times with Data Support specialists

Regular data sources

Registering persons provide the data by themselves.

Regular destinations of disclosed data

Register data will only be at the parties taking care of the long term preservation process at University of Helsinki. Data will not be transferred to third parties.

Data transfer outside EU and ETA

Data will not be transferred outside EU or European Economic Area.

Protection of the register

Register is secured by the basic E-form procedure.

Right of access

Registered persons have the right to access data before meeting Data Support specialists.

Correction of the data and bringing it into effect

Registered persons are entitled to require the rectification of erroneous data before meeting Data Support specialists
