In an effort to keep our conference interdisciplinary and inclusive we will devote one of our working groups and plenary sessions to a conversation between activists, scholars, and other interested participants. All events will take place in the University of Helsinki Main Building - Fabianinkatu 33 - 4th floor - Small Festive Hall and Lobby area.

Speakers include activist scholar Larry Lohmann (UK), climate justice and forest activist Soumitra Ghosh (India), water and energy activist Kyi Phyo (Myanmar), land right activist Khu Khu Ju (Myanmar), de-growth activist Marko Ulvila (Finland). We will also get a message from a Sámi artist, activist and scholar Pauliina Feodoroff.
This plenary session is open to all who are registered for the conference. In addition, it is open to guests with a pre-registration. If you want to join us for this working group and plenary, but you are not registered for the larger conference, please register for this plenary using this form. With this registration you are also welcome to join for the coffee which will be held either directly after the plenary panel. Please note if you have submitted a registration for the conference already, you do not need to fill out this form.
