Helsinki University Library, Kaisa House - Renting of rooms

Please note that your reservation is confirmed only after you have received confirmation from us by e-mail. After a reservation has been confirmed, the reservation can be cancelled free-of-charge 7 days prior to the event.

 

Helsinki University Library offers some of its facilities for rent for scientific communities as well as public and non-profit organizations, associations and non-governmental groups.

The facilities cannot be rented for political parties or religious events. The library premises cannot be used for commercial activities competing with the university (trainings, seminars, training courses with charged fee etc.).

The Safer Space principles apply to all library premises and events. When making a reservation the organizer of the event agrees to the Library's Safer Space principles.

 

The Library’s accessible entrances are the main entrance on Fabianinkatu and the lift from either the University of Helsinki metro station or Kaisaniemenkatu. Kaisa Hall (on the 7th floor) and Alumni room (on the 2nd floor) are accessible by lift.
