SRY:n Nuorten ravitsemustieteilijöiden kevättapahtuma 7.5.2026 – “Ravitsemusta aistien kautta”
Tervetuloa SRY:n Nuorten ravitsemustieteilijöiden kevättapahtumaan “Ravitsemusta aistien kautta”, joka järjestetään torstaina 7.5.2026 klo 12.00–16.00 Turussa. Tapahtumassa pääset tutustumaan Turun yliopiston Nutrition and Food Research Center (NuFo) -keskuksen ja Food Science -yksikön toimintaan.
Iltapäivä alkaa NuFon toimintaan tutustuen, ja perehdymme moniaistiympäristöön käytännössä. Tämän jälkeen siirrymme omakustanteiselle lounaalle Flavoriaan, jossa käytössä on älykäs ruokalinjasto. Lounaan jälkeen jatkamme vierailulla Food Science -yksikköön.
Virallisen kierroksen jälkeen tarjoamme halukkaille jäätelöt Aurajoen varrella rennon verkostoitumisen merkeissä.
Tilaisuus on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti SRY:n nuorille ravitsemustieteilijöille eli uransa alkuvaiheessa oleville jäsenille, mutta ilmoittautuminen on avoin kaikille SRY:n jäsenille.
Tapahtumaan mahtuu 20 ensimmäistä ilmoittautujaa. Tapahtuma järjestetään, mikäli vähimmäisosallistujamäärä (8) täyttyy.

**SRY Young Nutrition Scientists Spring Event May 7th, 2026 –
“Nutrition Through the Senses”**
Welcome to the SRY Young Nutrition Scientists’ spring event “Nutrition Through the Senses”, held on May 7th, 2026, from 12:00 to 16:00 in Turku. During the event, you will have the opportunity to visit the University of Turku’s Nutrition and Food Research Center (NuFo) and the Food Science Unit.
We will begin the afternoon with an introduction to NuFo, where we also experience their multisensory environment in practice. After this, we will head to Flavoria for a self-paid lunch, where you can explore the intelligent food line. Following lunch, we will continue with a visit to the Food Science Unit.
After the official program, we will offer ice cream by the Aura River for those interested, providing a relaxed atmosphere for networking.
The event is intended primarily for early-career members of SRY, but the registration will be open to all SRY members.
The event can accommodate the first 20 registered participants. It will be held if the minimum number of participants (8) is reached.
