HELSUS-RESET Brown Bag Lunch Speakers and Topics Autumn 2025

Are you interested in sharing your latest research findings with the RESET colleagues (HELSUS, HOH and INEQ)? Do you know another colleague whose research should be introduced to the RESET audience? 

 

This is a survey to collect suggestions for HELSUS-RESET Brown Bag Lunch speakers and topics for the seminar series in Autumn 2025.

 

HELSUS-RESET Brown Bag Lunches are lunchtime events where participants bring their own lunch box and gather to a concise seminar with presentations over topical research themes. These events are also a great way to gather researchers from different disciplinary backgrounds to meet in person or online, get to know each other and explore potential common research interests.

 

The Brown Bag Lunches will take place at the University Main Building meeting room 2069 (old side Unioninkatu 34) (City Centre campus). The events are organized on Thursdays at 11.30 - 12.30, once a month. They are also streamed for online participation. The dates for the autumn sessions are: 25.9., 23.10., 20.11., 11.12.

 

Now we collect ideas for interesting speakers and topics around RESET themes and more broadly on sustainability science. One session can host one or more speakers around a specific theme. The 20-minute presentation is followed by 10 minutes discussant's questions and comments and open discussion for about 30 minutes. The topic can be related to any of the RESET themes or other relevant sustainability science topics.

 HELSUS/RESET blog
