LIFEPLAN is a global project monitoring biodiversity using big data and standardized methods like DNA barcoding and machine learning algorithms. By combining LIFEPLAN's global monitoring efforts with eLTER RI’s network of long-term ecological research sites, the initiative provides critical insights into biodiversity trends and supports evidence-based conservation decisions. The upcoming webinar aims to provide an overview on the status and progress of LIFEPLAN biodiversity monitoring at eLTER sites.
