An electronically verified transcript of records might be needed if you are asked to provide official proof of the studies you have completed at the University of Helsinki. You may need the transcript for example when you are applying to another higher education institution or in response to an official request. The transcript of records also include information about your study rights and their status.
With a certificate of student status you can prove which study rights at the University of Helsinki you have, the status of the study right (active, passive, expired, graduated, renounced) and, for study rights with required annual registration, the registration status of the study right. You can use the certificate of student status if your student card or a transcript of records is not sufficient or you don't have a student card.
