Application for research spaces at the National Library for 1.7.–31.12.2025


The National Library’s research facilities are available until the end of 2025. The right to use the research facilities in the Library's South Hall can be applied by filling this e-form.

We welcome applications from all educational backgrounds and affiliations. The applications are evaluated particularly with the following criteria:

  • The relevance of National Library's collections and resources to applicant's research 
  • The applicant's current requirements for a workspace 
  • The active use of the workspace and library's services

 

The research facilities are free of charge. 

 

Available facilities:

 

Research spaces in the South Hall, 6 months (1.7.–31.12.2025), 10 spaces 

- lockable rolling cabinets

- c. 2 metres of shelf space for reading room loans (Excluding material from Fennica and Special Collections) 

 

Please fill the application form by 1.6.2025.

 

The successful applicants will be notified by 9.6.2025

The National Library will use information supplied on this form only for the purposes of the present application round. No information will be passed on to any third parties. Only staff members of the library involved in processing the applications will have access to this information.
