Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme Application for UH units

A blended intensive programme (BIP) coordinated by the University of Helsinki consists of a short mobility to University of Helsinki and interactive virtual meetings before and/or after the physical mobility. The objective is to facilitate collaborative online learning exchange and teamwork. For example, the virtual component can bring learners from different countries and study fields together online to follow online courses or work collectively and simultaneously on assignments that are recognised as part of their degree.

Conditions of Erasmus+ BIP:

• Minimum 3 higher education institutions in three different E+ programme countries ( EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey)
• Minimum of 15 participants from other programme countries' higher education institutions (the minimum does not include UH participants or teachers of the course)
• Participating learners can be students, PhD researchers or staff
  The physical mobility at UH is 5-30 days. There is no minimum requirement for virtual mobility duration
• The course is at least 3 ECTS (for courses where learners are students)
• The is an Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement between the participating universities and University of Helsinki and blended mobility is part of the agreement. For more information about agreements, please contact exchange-agreements@helsinki.fi
