FINNSIP SIP Fast Track Application

In between the main calls for applications, a short term instrument provision is possible through fast track application process.

This web form is used for submitting the fast track application. The FINNSIP Steering Group will make a decision as soon as possible, latest within two (2) weeks from receiving the application.

Please familiarize yourself with the FINNSIP general information on the instrument pool operations, including the list of available instruments, the reservation calendar, and the FINNSIP principles of operation, including criteria for fast-track projects before applying.

The FINNSIP main Call for Applications is open twice a year. The FINNSIP Steering Group will have a pre-scheduled meeting to evaluate the applications, tentatively in January and in August. The call for applications will open two (2) months prior to the meeting, and close one (1) week before it.

Applications with industry involvement and commercial usage, i.e., economic projects, are possible. However, the economic usage of the instruments cannot exceed annually 20% - the limit is set by the Academy of Finland. Applications for economic projects are set at lower priority.
