Application for an extension of a study right - Faculty of Arts

With this form, you can apply for an extension of the right to study from your faculty to complete your studies. Only use this form, if you do not have a valid username and you cannot complete the application in Sisu.

Before filling up the application, please carefully familiarize yourself with the instructions for applying for extension on Instructions for students. Please note, that the processing times of applications may vary between faculties.

If you are applying for an extension for completing both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, only report the missing studies from the bachelor’s degree with this form. You are to draw up a study plan for the master’s degree in Sisu after you have been granted the extension for completing your bachelor’s degree.

If you have started your studies before 2017 in accordance with the old degree requirements, please make sure to make the study plan according to the new requirements of your degree programme. Further information about new degree programmes is available on Instructions for students.

Processing fee

Your extension application will not be processed unless you have paid the €50 application processing fee.

The application processing fee is based on section 4 of Government Decree 199/2024.
