Please fill out this form to pre-register and submit an abstract (01.09.2020 - 28.02.2021).

At this stage we ask participants to pre-register, and if wishing to present their work at the symposium, to submit their abstract without indicating preference for presentation type.

Due to ongoing uncertainty about Covid-19 and travel restrictions, a final decision on the format of the symposium will be made in early March 2021. The symposium will be either hybrid (onsite + online) or online only. To help with planning, we ask you to indicate your preference for onsite or online attendance.

Payment of the symposium fee will be requested in March 2021 after the decision is made on the format. The symposium fees are as follows:

Onsite attendance (regular): €400

Onsite attendance (student): €80

Online attendance (regular): €100

Online attendance (student): free

Regular onsite fee includes 3 lunches, plus the following events:

-Reception at Lahti city hall

-Symposium dinner

-Fieldtrip to Lake Vesijärvi

Regular online fee includes remote participation in all sessions and unlimited access to the recorded presentations after the symposium.

Student fees do not include events or access to recordings.
